When it comes to all-in-one (AiO) PCs, usually, we won't spend too much time discussing complementary aspects such as webcams or microphones. But since the pandemic is still not over, such things are important to highlight because it directly affects the smoothness of WFH activities.

Long story short, a good webcam and microphone are a plus for an AiO PC launched during the pandemic. An example is the latest AiO by HP below. Dubbed the HP EliteOne 800 G8 All-in-One, one of its flagship features is a webcam with face-tracking technology, not to mention an AI-based noise reduction system.

The webcam module consists of a pair of 5-megapixel cameras, an infra-red camera, and a time-of-flight sensor to measure distance. Combined with a broader field of view than usual, the webcam can also adjust so that the user's face is always right in the center of the frame automatically. Then when not in use, the webcam module stays hidden to provide extra security around privacy.

Regarding its noise reduction system, HP claims that it can detect and eliminate more than 350 million types of sound. In addition to seeing sound output, the system can also see voice input, which means you can still feel the benefits when talking to other people whose microphones are less reliable. Furthermore, HP also includes a Dynamic Voice Leveling feature to automatically adjust the user's volume, ensuring that the volume remains consistent even when the user moves closer or away from the device.

In terms of specifications, the most expensive configuration includes an 11th generation Intel Core i9 processor, concluded with 64 GB of RAM and a 6TB NVMe SSD, enough to meet the daily needs of its primary target market, business people. HP provides two options for its display: 24-inch or 27-inch, with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
